I don’t even know what I would pick.

the concept of a last meal is so bafflingly heartbreaking to me. I understand that these people all did really terrible things but it’s still crazy that we as a society killed them. it’s crazy that society does that.

but I think what gets me the most about this is the third one: this guy was sentenced to death by firing squad, and this was after the Lord of the Rings movies came out, so it had to be 2003 or later. he was killed by a firing squad in 2003. a fucking gestappo-style firing squad! jesus, we don’t still burn people at the stake do we?
